Turf equipment in one paragraph
Artificial turf lies flat over time. Foot traffic pushes the blades down, infill migrates and settles, and the lawn starts to look matted rather than new.
A power broom fixes both problems in one pass. The bristles stand the pile back up and drive the infill down between the blades, which is also how new infill gets worked in after it is spread.
This is grounds equipment rather than construction equipment, which is why it sits in its own category rather than under the compactors.
3 things worth knowing first
- Whether the turf is artificial, because this does nothing useful on a live lawn
- Roughly how much area you are covering, so we can tell you if a day is enough
- Whether you are adding infill at the same time, which changes the order of work
Tell us the square footage and whether the turf is new or established, and we will tell you how long to book it for.

Pickup or delivery
At about 35 lb this is the lightest thing we rent, so almost any vehicle will take it and delivery is optional rather than required.
If you would rather we brought it out to you, call the yard and we will price the run to your address before you book.
Pick it up from the yard during store hours, Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and bring it back during store hours on the return date.
Where we deliver
Common questions
What does a turf brush actually do?
2 things in one pass. The bristles stand the flattened blades back up, and they drive loose infill down between them so it sits where it belongs.
How much does it cost to rent a turf brush in Phoenix?
$45/day, $195 for the week or $395 for 4 weeks. It is the lowest day rate we charge.
How much turf can I do in a day?
A normal residential lawn is comfortably a 1 day job. If you are covering several thousand square feet, or working infill into new turf, the week rate is the better buy once the job runs to 5 days or more.
Do you deliver the turf brush?
We can, but almost nobody asks. At about 35 lb it goes in a car trunk, and on a $45 item the freight costs more than the rental.
