Frequently asked questions
Straight answers on booking, delivery and what happens once the machine is on your site.
Booking and payment
01How do I pay for a rental?
We take Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Payment is taken upfront rather than on return, with no deposit, and the rate you are quoted is what you pay, plus tax and the damage waiver.
02Is there a cancellation charge?
Not if you cancel at least 24 hr before the rental starts. Tell us as early as you can either way, because a machine held for you is a machine somebody else could have used.
03Do you rent attachments separately from the machine?
Only alongside a rental. A bucket with teeth is $20 on the S70 or the 318G. A pallet fork for the 318G is $75. We do not rent attachments on their own.
Delivery and timing
04What if the machine will not fit when the truck arrives?
Then it goes back on the trailer and you have paid for a delivery that achieved nothing. That is why we ask for the narrowest point on the route at booking. It is also why every size page leads with width and stowed height.
05Can I keep the machine over a weekend?
Yes, and the weekend is free. Take the machine on Friday, have it ready for pickup before 7 a.m. Monday, and you pay for 1 day. Deliveries and collections run Monday to Friday.
06Can I extend a rental once the machine is on site?
Usually yes, as long as nobody else has it booked. Call the yard at (602) 900-1845 before the return date, not after. We may already have the machine on a schedule.
On the job
07What happens if it rains and I cannot work?
Rain days are charged like any other day, so the clock does not stop for weather. If a storm has made the site unusable, call us. We will see what we can do about the dates.
08Who do I call if something goes wrong out of hours?
The same number, (602) 900-1845. We are a small yard rather than a call center, so out of hours it reaches a person rather than a queue.
